Paper Shredder Game Price: Expected Cost and Current Status
Paper Shredder does not have a confirmed price. Embers said in its July 2026 FAQ that the game would likely cost about $5–$10 USD, while warning that the amount could change with development progress and the final size of the game.

The $5–$10 estimate is not a store price
Steam does not currently show a purchase button or final price because Paper Shredder is still marked Coming soon. The developer’s range is useful for planning, but it is not a preorder offer and should not be reported as a fixed $5, $9.99 or $10 price.
Regional prices, a launch discount and bundle options have not been announced. Those details normally become reliable only when the developer opens sales or publishes a launch announcement.
Can you play Paper Shredder for free?
The full commercial game has not been announced as free-to-play. A Steam playtest can currently be requested, and the developer has discussed a future public demo, but access timing and availability remain undecided.
NibblePlay’s browser game is free and playable above, but it is an independent 60-second arcade game. It is not the Steam playtest, demo or full Embers release.
What to check before buying
