Paper Shredder Game Release Date: When Is It Coming Out?
Paper Shredder does not have a confirmed release date. Its Steam page still says Coming soon. In its July 2026 FAQ, developer Embers said it hoped to release the game near the end of 2026 or in early 2027, but described that timing as a target rather than a fixed date.

The current Paper Shredder release window
The only official store status is Coming soon. Embers has not announced a day or month, so listings that present a precise date should be treated as unconfirmed until the Steam page or an official announcement changes.
The developer’s published target is the end of 2026 or early 2027. Development scope can move that window, and the studio has said more information will arrive as work progresses.
Playtest and demo come before the full release
Steam currently offers a Request Access button for the Paper Shredder Playtest. Embers said the first test would use an early build, followed by improvements for a public demo and the full release.
A playtest request is not guaranteed access and is not the same as a release date. Players who want the earliest official notice can wishlist the game and follow its Steam announcements.
How we will update this page
We check the official Steam listing and developer announcements rather than countdown sites or retailer placeholders. When Embers publishes a firm date, this page will replace the target window with the confirmed date and note the source and update day.
